Lani Levine is an Emmy-winning journalist and producer whose work spans combat sports and combat zones. Born across from the Coney Island Cyclone, her roller coaster career has included negotiating with the Taliban, embedding with Tyson Fury’s camp, and exploring a secret 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse of Michael Jackson’s personal effects.
Known for thriving in high-stakes environments, Lani combines sharp editorial instinct with crisis-tested logistics: managing people, equipment, and access in some of the world’s most volatile places.
Her projects have aired on HBO, National Geographic, CBS, Showtime, FOX, TIME, ESPN, VICE, HISTORY, and Amazon Prime. She began her career at the famously high-stakes 60 Minutes and most recently served as Executive Producer of visionary director Olivier Sarbil’s VIKTOR, which premiered in TIFF’s Platform competition.
Her work has earned some of journalism’s highest honors, including multiple News & Documentary Emmys, the Grierson British Documentary Award, the Oscar shortlist, and the Edward R. Murrow Award.
